Brooks Williams (born November 10, 1958)[1] is an American acoustic guitarist and singer-songwriter. His style combines rootsjazzbluesclassical, and folk. He has released albums of contemporary folk music, blues music, and of instrumental guitar music. In addition to his solo recordings and tours, he has frequently recorded and toured with many other musicians over the years, including Boo HewerdineJim HenryGuy DavisHans TheessinkSteve Tilston and Sloan Wainwright.

Listed as one of the ‘Top 100 Acoustic Guitarists,’ his guitar skills are evident as he effortlessly slides in and out of folk, blues and country. "He was playing Americana before it had been given the name,” says CMP . “How soulful a solo guitarist can be when he has talent, taste and astonishing technique,” writes Blues Revue.
